Big Pine Grind actually started out 3 years ago as a webcomic on BigPineKey.com. Eventually I upgraded to something more technologically advanced.... a local newspaper, The News~Barometer. I think the next incarnation of it will be chiseled on to a stone tablet. |

Schlock from the Rock. This Key West-focused strip began over at the publication, Conch Color. A new version of it made it's debut recently in the editorial section of the Key West Citizen. There's not as many of these strips as they are in a color, Sunday-style format and take a while to complete. I have a life, you know! |

Dr. Dread has absolutely nothing to do with the Florida Keys. Just something I came up with 13 years ago that I still wish I could get the time to expand on. There's only the one, comic book-length Halloween story to display right now, but I do have a Christmas issue I may finish someday. Maybe in installments right here on KeyToons.com. Or not. Please excuse some of the pages not being in color. I'll get to them. |

Flipside Parker was the only comic I ever submitted to syndicates. This was 15 years ago. I think it's not bad, for 15 years ago. I did get a kind, personal rejection letter from the editor of King Features Syndicate pointing out where I could improve the strip, alluding that I should try submitting again. Well.... I showed him by not trying again for a decade and-a-half. |
